Roger Waters has written in the Guardian imploring Madonna not to play in Tel Aviv as part of the upcoming Eurovision song contest finals. He writes:
...am I prepared to stand behind my support for human rights and act on it? Will I help my brothers and sisters in their struggle for human rights, or will I cross over and walk by on the other side?
